JAPAN -
"What can we do to help?"
On March 11th, 2011, Japan was hit by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake, one of the largest ever recorded. Having friends in Japan, TeamFIREWORKS is helping Japan by dontating and volenteering. Below are just a few ways you can help:
PIGGY BANKS ON A MISSION - For kids, one of the easiest and most effective ways to help is with ... a piggy bank. Get a bank, or a small box, and just put your extra change inside. Simple, right? You can then donate it to our favorite trusted sites (listen below).
PEN PALS IN JAPAN - Helping out in any way you can makes a difference, even if it's to cheer someone up. Here is an index of penpal websites. http://www.youthonline.ca/penpals/penpalsforkids.shtml. My penpal's name is Miyu, and lives in Nagano. Who is yours? Tell us more in an e-mail!
